{"id":153,"date":"2014-07-02T07:40:16","date_gmt":"2014-07-02T07:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.onsightapp.com\/user-guide\/?p=153"},"modified":"2025-09-18T09:14:27","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T09:14:27","slug":"how-do-i-configure-the-email-settings-for-orders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.onsightapp.com\/user-guide\/how-do-i-configure-the-email-settings-for-orders\/","title":{"rendered":"How do I configure the email settings for orders?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To configure the email settings for orders:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to the Onsight web console at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Settings\u2019 from the left-hand side menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u2018Configuration&#8217; menu item.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u2018Order Emails\u2019 tab.<\/li>\n<li>See your present email settings for orders.<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u2018Edit\u2019 button.<\/li>\n<li>Edit the setting that you want to change.<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u2018Save\u2019 button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are a range of email settings that you can change:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Email orders to<br \/>\nThe email address that all your orders must get sent to. You can fill in a single email address or multiple email addresses separated by a comma.<\/p>\n<li>Copy orders to customers?<br \/>\nShould a copy of the order be sent to the customer?<\/p>\n<li>Copy orders to sales reps?<br \/>\nShould a copy of the order be sent to the sales rep who created it?<\/p>\n<li>Copy orders to sales managers?<br \/>\nShould a copy of the order be sent to the sales manager?<\/p>\n<li>Sender name<br \/>\nThis name will display in front of the sender email address. The default sender name for your account is the company name you used to sign up for your account.<\/p>\n<li>Sender email address<br \/>\nThe email address that should appear as the From: address for the email.<br \/>\nAll bounces will also go to this email address.<br \/>\nThe default email address for a new account is no-reply@onsightapp.com. If you would like to display your own company email address here, we will need to validate your domain. Please contact <a href=\"mailto:support@onsightapp.com\">support@onsightapp.com<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<li>Reply-To email address<br \/>\nWhen users reply to your order emails it will go to this email address.<br \/>\nThe default Reply-To email address for your account is the email address that you used to sign up for your account.<\/p>\n<li>Email subject<br \/>\nChoose your own subject line for the order email. If you leave this field blank then our default email subject line will be used for order email confirmations to you and your customers.
