{"id":2327,"date":"2020-05-19T21:02:40","date_gmt":"2020-05-19T21:02:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.onsightapp.com\/user-guide\/?p=2327"},"modified":"2025-09-30T21:59:54","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T21:59:54","slug":"how-to-convert-a-quote-into-an-order-using-the-admin-console","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.onsightapp.com\/user-guide\/how-to-convert-a-quote-into-an-order-using-the-admin-console\/","title":{"rendered":"How to convert a quote into an order using the web console"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sales quotes can be converted into sales orders by approving them. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to the Onsight web console at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Orders\u2019 from the left-hand side menu.<\/li>\n<li>The latest orders and quotes will be displayed. You can also choose a start date, end date or customer to change the list that is displayed.<\/li>\n<li>If you cannot see your quote, click on the &#8216;Type&#8217; dropdown and select &#8216;Quotes&#8217; and make sure the &#8216;Status&#8217; dropdown is set to &#8216;Open&#8217;. Then click &#8216;Search&#8217;. You should see the quote in the list of documents.<\/li>\n<li>Click the document number of the quote that you would like to approve.<\/li>\n<li>The quote will be shown.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u2018Actions\u2019 button at the top of the screen and then click &#8216;Approve&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>You can still make final changes.<\/li>\n<li>You can add and remove products or change the quantities of existing products.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Save and Send\u2019 at the bottom of the screen.<\/li>\n<li>A new sales order will be created.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note: A sales quote can only be approved once.
