{"id":3097,"date":"2022-11-02T01:12:39","date_gmt":"2022-11-02T01:12:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.onsightapp.com\/user-guide\/?p=3097"},"modified":"2025-09-25T03:38:24","modified_gmt":"2025-09-25T03:38:24","slug":"how-do-i-edit-a-shipping-address-for-a-customer-in-the-admin-console","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.onsightapp.com\/user-guide\/how-do-i-edit-a-shipping-address-for-a-customer-in-the-admin-console\/","title":{"rendered":"How do I edit a shipping address for a customer in the web console?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To edit a customer&#8217;s shipping address in the web console:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to the Onsight web console at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Customers\u2019 from the left-hand side menu.<\/li>\n<li>You will see a list of all of your customers. <\/li>\n<li>Click on the customer that you want to change the shipping address for.\n<li>Click the &#8216;Edit&#8217; button.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the &#8216;Address&#8217; tab. <\/li>\n<li>Scroll to the \u2018Shipping addresses\u2019 section.<\/li>\n<li>Find the shipping address that you want to change, click on the options menu icon and then click on &#8216;Edit&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Use the \u2018Label\u2019 field to describe the shipping address (for example, Warehouse South, Warehouse North). It is important to label your addresses as smaller phone screens will only display the label and not the full address when creating an order\/quote.<\/li>\n<li>Update in the rest of the address fields.<\/li>\n<li>If you enable the \u2018Default\u2019 field, then this shipping address will become the default shipping address for all the orders and quotes for this customer.<\/li>\n<li>Click the &#8216;Save&#8217; button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To edit a customer&#8217;s shipping address in the web console: Log in to the Onsight web console at\u00a0https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/.
