{"id":4155,"date":"2025-02-08T14:18:47","date_gmt":"2025-02-08T14:18:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.onsightapp.com\/user-guide\/?p=4155"},"modified":"2025-09-18T09:15:05","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T09:15:05","slug":"how-do-i-configure-the-email-settings-for-quotes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.onsightapp.com\/user-guide\/how-do-i-configure-the-email-settings-for-quotes\/","title":{"rendered":"How do I configure the email settings for quotes?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To configure the email settings for quotes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to the Onsight web console at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Settings\u2019 from the left-hand side menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u2018Configuration&#8217; menu item.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u2018Quote Emails\u2019 tab.<\/li>\n<li>See your present email settings for quotes.<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u2018Edit\u2019 button.<\/li>\n<li>Edit the setting that you want to change.<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u2018Save\u2019 button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are a range of email settings that you can change:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Email quotes to customers?<br \/>\nShould a copy of the quote be sent to the customer?<\/p>\n<li>Email quotes to<br \/>\nThe email address that all your quotes must be sent to. You can fill in a single email address or multiple email addresses separated by a comma.<\/p>\n<li>Copy quotes to sales reps?<br \/>\nShould a copy of the quote be sent to the sales rep who created it?<\/p>\n<li>Copy quotes to sales managers?<br \/>\nShould a copy of the quote be sent to the sales manager?<\/p>\n<li>Sender name<br \/>\nThis name will display in front of the sender email address. The default sender name for your account is the company name you used to sign up for your account.<\/p>\n<li>Sender email address<br \/>\nThe email address that should appear as the From: address for the email.<br \/>\nAll bounces will also go to this email address.<br \/>\nThe default email address for a new account is no-reply@onsightapp.com. If you would like to display your own company email address here, we will need to validate your domain. Please contact support@onsightapp.com for more information.<\/p>\n<li>Reply-To email address<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen users reply to your quote emails it will go to this email address.<br \/>\nThe default Reply-To email address for your account is the email address that you used to sign up for your account.<\/p>\n<li>Email Subject<br \/>\nChoose your own subject line for the quote email. If you leave this field blank then our default email subject line will be used for quote email confirmations to you and your customers.
