However, you might want to download a PDF catalogue for a specific list of unrelated products. To do this you can put those products into a temporary product category as an additional category to their main category, then browse to the temporary category and generate a PDF for it. Then to clean things up you can remove the products from the temporary category and delete the temporary category. <\/p>\n<p>Here are step-by-step instructions for how to do this.<\/p>\n<p>Create a new temporary product category:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to the Onsight web console at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Manage your data\u2019 from the left-hand side menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the &#8216;Products &#8211; Categories&#8217; menu item.<\/li>\n<li>You will see a list of all of your product categories.<\/li>\n<li>To add the new temporary category, click on &#8216;Add Category&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Fill in a name for the product category and upload an image. Toggle the \u2018Active\u2019 field to make the category inactive so that your users do not see it.<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u2018Save\u2019 button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Add your products to this temporary category:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to the Onsight web console at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Manage your data\u2019 from the left-hand side menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the &#8216;Products &#8211; Quick move&#8217; menu item.<\/li>\n<li>You will see a list of all of your products.<\/li>\n<li>Use the search filters to find the products that you want to include in the PDF.<\/li>\n<li>Select the products.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8216;Actions &#8211; Add additional category&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Choose the new temporary category.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8216;Add additional category&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat this process till all your products have been added to the temporary category.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Generate a PDF for the temporary category:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to the Onsight web console at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Manage your data\u2019 from the left-hand side menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the &#8216;Products &#8211; Categories&#8217; menu item.<\/li>\n<li>You will see a list of all of your product categories.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the temporary category, and then click on &#8216;Edit&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Toggle the \u2018Active\u2019 field to make the category active so that you can see it. Note that this will also make it visible to your users.<\/li>\n<li>Click the \u2018Save\u2019 button.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Catalogue\u2019 from the left-hand side menu.<\/li>\n<li>Browse to the temporary category and click the PDF icon there.<\/li>\n<li>The PDF will take a few minutes to be generated.<\/li>\n<li>You will be emailed a link to download the PDF.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you intend to use this category again, then all you need to do is make the category inactive so that no-one can see it. Then you are done. <\/p>\n<p>If you do not plan to use this category again, then you can remove your products to this temporary category and delete the category itself:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to the Onsight web console at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Manage your data\u2019 from the left-hand side menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the &#8216;Products &#8211; Quick move&#8217; menu item.<\/li>\n<li>You will see a list of all of your products.<\/li>\n<li>Use the search filters to find the products that you previously selected for the PDF.<\/li>\n<li>Select the products.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8216;Actions &#8211; Remove additional category&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Choose the temporary category.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8216;Remove additional category&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat this process till all your products have been removed from the temporary category.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remove the temporary category:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to the Onsight web console at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/sales.onsightapp.com\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Manage your data\u2019 from the left-hand side menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the &#8216;Products &#8211; Categories&#8217; menu item.<\/li>\n<li>You will see a list of all of your product categories.<\/li>\n<li>Find the temporary category and click on the &#8216;Delete&#8217; icon.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that you want to delete it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We offer a service to customise the design of PDF to your requirements.
