How do I connect to MYOB?

Onsight can connect to MYOB to get product and price information and to send new orders directly into MYOB. This will allow your product information to flow from MYOB to Onsight.

Before using our MYOB connector, you will need to create a new user for Onsight in your MYOB account. Here’s how to add Onsight as an administrator:

  • Log into your MYOB account.
  • Select ‘Setup’.
  • Select ‘User Access’. This will open up the user access window.
  • Click on ‘New User’.
  • Give the user a username, password and administrator permission. Please note this information for later.
  • Do not select the ‘This user will sign in with a my.MYOB.account’ option.

To activate the connector for your Onsight account, email support@onsightapp.com to place a request. Then follow these steps:

  • Once you receive a confirmation email notifying you that the MYOB connector has been activated, log in to the Onsight admin console at https://web.onsightapp.com/.
  • Click on ‘Setup’ in the left-hand side menu.
  • Click on the ‘Configuration’ menu item.
  • Click on the ‘Integration’ tab.
  • Click on ‘Connect to MYOB’.
  • Authorise the connection to MYOB. Your MYOB account must be open on the PC that you are working on because you will need to implement authorisation on both ends.
  • A screen will appear prompting you to enter the Administrator username. Enter the credentials used to create the Onsight administrator above.
  • Do not select the ‘This user will sign in with a my.MYOB.account’ option.

Please note that the initial sync may take several hours to complete depending on the amount of products, customers and pricing information that you have.
