How the Landed Cost Calculator Works
Enter the base cost per unit of each item, then the total freight, duty/tariff, and other costs for that shipment line as a whole. The calculator spreads freight and other costs evenly across the quantity ordered to work out the true landed cost per unit and in total.

- The total freight cost for this shipment line, across the full quantity ordered.
- Duty / Tariff (%)
- The customs duty or tariff rate that applies to this item, entered as a percentage of its base cost.
- Other Costs (Total $)
- Insurance, customs clearance, handling, and other landed costs for this shipment line, across the full quantity ordered.
- Landed Cost per Unit
- Base Cost + (Freight ÷ Quantity) + Duty + (Other Costs ÷ Quantity)
