You can enhance your product listings by including links to product videos, product brochures, product spec docs and other product media. Sales reps and customers can then open the links to view the videos and files that you want them to see.
The videos, brochures and spec docs need to be uploaded to a website already and you need to have the web links that points to them. They can be in any video format (MPEG, etc.) and any document format (PDF, Word, etc.)
To add these media links to your catalogue:
- Log in to the Onsight web console at https://sales.onsightapp.com/.
- Click on ‘Manage your data’ from the left-hand side menu.
- Click on the ‘Products’ menu item.
- You will see a list of all of your existing products.
- Click on the product you would like to add the links to
- Click on the ‘Custom Fields’ tab
- Click the ‘Edit’ button.
- Add a new custom field and give it a name, eg. ‘Video’, or choose an existing custom field
- Paste the link into the value field
- Click the ‘Save’ button.
The video / brochure / document will now appear in the app as a special link below the product description.
You can also include links in the actual product description itself:
- Log in to the Onsight web console at https://sales.onsightapp.com/.
- Click on ‘Manage your data’ from the left-hand side menu.
- Click on the ‘Products’ menu item.
- You will see a list of all of your existing products.
- Click on the product you would like to add the links to
- Click the ‘Edit’ button.
- You can add your links into to the description field
- Click the ‘Save’ button.
The videos / brochures / documents will now appear in the app as clickable links in the product description.
