How do I bulk add multiple items to an order or quote in the web console?

If you have a list of products and quantities ready to go (for example, copied from a spreadsheet or an email from a customer), you can add them all to a new order or quote at once instead of adding each product one by one.

• Log in to the Onsight web console at https://sales.onsightapp.com/.
• From the menu, click ‘Orders’.
• Click ‘Create’ and then choose ‘Create a new blank order’ or ‘Create a new blank quote’.
• Select a customer.
• You can add a contact person, shipping address, delivery date, reference and payment method.
• Click ‘Bulk Add Items’, next to the ‘Add Item’ button.
• Paste your list into the text box. Each line should have one product name, product code, SKU or barcode, followed by a tab or a comma, and then the quantity. For example:

  Item A,2
  Item B,5

• Click ‘Preview’.
• You will see a table showing each line you pasted, the product it matched, the quantity, and a status.
• If a line shows ‘OK’, the product was found and will be added at the quantity you asked for.
• If a line shows a message like ‘Quantity adjusted from 10 to 2’, the quantity you asked for was more than is currently allowed for that product, so it’s been reduced automatically. It will still be added, at the reduced quantity.
• If a line shows ‘This quantity is not allowed for this product’, that product has already reached its allowed limit in your cart, so no more of it can be added.
• If a line shows ‘No matching product found’, none of your products match what was typed on that line. Check the spelling, or try the product code, SKU or barcode instead.
• If a line shows ‘Matches more than one product’, what you typed matches more than one product. Use a more specific product code, SKU or barcode instead.
• If you need to fix any lines, click ‘Back’ to return to the paste box, edit the contents and try again.
• When you’re happy with the preview, click ‘Add Items’. A message will confirm how many items were added and how many were skipped.
• Continue building your order or quote as normal, then click ‘Save and Send’ at the bottom of the screen when you are done.
