How do I change the custom status for an order?

With custom statuses, Onsight makes it easy for admins, sales reps, warehouse staff and customers to see, at a glance, where each order stands in the order fulfillment process. Whether an order is “Packed,” “Shipped,” or “Delivered” , it is an easy way to ensure everyone stays updated and connected.

To change the custom status of a order:

  • Log in to the Onsight web console at
  • Click on ‘Orders’ from the left-hand side menu
  • On the right, in the orders table there will be a field called ‘Custom Status’
  • Click on the drop down menu and select the applicable status

Now, your order status will be updated and visible in the web console for those you have permitted to view the custom status. If reps or customer logins have been allowed to view or edit the custom status, it will appear in the same location.
