How do I delete a product category?

A product category may contain sub-categories and/or products. If a category contains either of these, you will not be able to delete the category. You will first have to delete all of the sub-categories and products contained within before you can delete the category.

To delete a product category, follow these steps:

  • Log in to the Onsight web console at https://sales.onsightapp.com/.
  • Click on ‘Manage your data’ from the left-hand side menu.
  • Click on the ‘Product categories’ menu item.
  • You will see a list of all of your product categories.
  • Tick the checkbox to the left of the product category you would like to delete and then click the ‘Delete’ button at the top of the list.
  • Confirm the deletion.
