How do I view a report that compares sales across multiple product categories?

You can compare the sales performance over time for several product categories at once, shown together on the same charts.

• Log in to the Onsight web console at https://sales.onsightapp.com/.
• Click on ‘Reports’ from the left-hand side menu.
• Click on ‘Products’ and then ‘Categories’ from the left-hand side menu.
• All of your product categories will be listed in your product category hierarchy.
• Tick the checkbox next to each category you want to compare. You can select up to 6 categories at a time.
• Once you have ticked at least one category, a ‘Compare’ button will appear at the top of the screen.
• Click on ‘Compare’.
• You will be presented with the sales performance over time for all of the categories you selected, shown together on the same charts. Each category appears as a different colour, with a legend below the chart so you can tell them apart.
• You can add or remove categories from the comparison at any time using the ‘Product categories’ drop-down at the top of the screen.
• Click on the drop-down at the top of the screen to choose the time period for the charts. The options are: “All time”, “Last year”, “Past 12 months”, “This year”, “Last month”, “Past 30 days”, “This month”, “Last week”, “This week”, “Yesterday”, “Today”. You can also choose a custom date range.
• You can also drill down further by selecting a specific sales rep or a specific customer from the drop-downs at the top of the screen.
• You can choose whether to see orders, quotes, or both from the ‘Data to show’ drop-down.
• You can click on the browser back button to go back to the original list of categories.
• Click on the ‘Download XLS’ icon at the top of a chart to download that chart’s data to an Excel file.
• Click on the ‘Download CSV’ icon at the top of a chart to download that chart’s data to a CSV file.
