How do I view a sales report by account owner?

In Onsight customers can be allocated to specific sales reps. If you want to view a sales report by account owner, follow these steps:

  • Log in to the Onsight web console at https://web.onsightapp.com/.
  • Click on ‘Reports’ from the left-hand side menu.
  • Click on the ‘Customers’ tab at the top and select ‘Account Ownership’ from the drop-down menu.
  • Click on the drop-down at the top of the screen to choose the time period for the report. The options are: “All time”, “Last year”, “Past 12 months”, “This year”, “Last month”, “Past 30 days”, “This month”, “Last week”, “This week”, “Yesterday”, “Today”.
  • You will be presented with a table showing the sales performance for each sales rep.
  • Click on the ‘Export to Excel’ link at the top of the table to download the data to an Excel file.
  • Click on the ‘Export to CSV’ link at the top of the table to download the data to a CSV file.

The rules that are followed for this report are:

  • If sales rep A creates an order for a customer owned by sales rep A, the sale will be included under sales rep A.
  • If sales rep A creates an order for a customer owned by sales rep B, the sale will be included under sales rep B.
  • If any sales rep creates an order for a customer owned by both sales rep A and sales rep B, the sale will be be included twice: under sales rep A and under sales rep B.
  • If a customer owned by sales rep A creates a self-order the sale will be included under sales rep A.
  • If a customer owned by sales rep B creates a self-order the sale will be included under sales rep B.
  • If a customer owned by both sales rep A and sales rep B creates a self-order the sale will be included twice: under sales rep A and under sales rep B.
