You can create a draft order or quote for a customer and, simultaneously, also create other draft orders and draft quotes for the same customer or other customers. This is useful when you are waiting for more information or confirmation before finalizing some lines on an order or quote. You can create a new draft order or quote for the other items that don’t require extra information or confirmation and send them out right away.
You can easily create multiple drafts by following these steps:
Option 1: There are no current drafts open for my customer
- Select your customer and add products to the cart
- You now have a draft order/quote for this customer
- If you want to create another draft, tap on the ‘Back’ button
- Tap on ‘Orders’ on the top right
- You will see your ‘Document – Draft’ that you have just created
- You can also tap on the funnel symbol on the top right and tap on ‘Drafts’ and then on ‘Done’ to only view your drafts
- To create a new draft, on iOS tap on ‘Add new Draft’ on the top or, on Android tap on the + button on the bottom right
Option 2: You already have a draft for your customer for which you want to create another draft
- Select your customer
- Tap on ‘Orders’ on the top right
- To create a new draft, on iOS tap on ‘Add new Draft’ on the top or, on Android tap on the + button on the bottom right
