How do I configure the email settings for quotes?

To configure the email settings for quotes:

  • Log in to the Onsight web console at https://sales.onsightapp.com/.
  • Click on ‘Settings’ from the left-hand side menu.
  • Click on the ‘Configuration’ menu item.
  • Click on the ‘Quote Emails’ tab.
  • See your present email settings for quotes.
  • Click the ‘Edit’ button.
  • Edit the setting that you want to change.
  • Click the ‘Save’ button.

There are a range of email settings that you can change:

  • Email quotes to customers?
    – Should a copy of the quote be sent to the customer?

  • Email quotes to
    – The email address that all your quotes must be sent to. You can fill in a single email address or multiple email addresses separated by a comma.

  • Copy quotes to sales reps?
    – Should a copy of the quote be sent to the sales rep who created it?

  • Copy quotes to sales managers?
    – Should a copy of the quote be sent to the sales manager?

  • Sender name
  • Sender email address
    – The email address that should appear as the From: address for the quote email. All bounces will also go to this email address.

  • Reply-To email address
    – When users reply to your quote emails it will go to this email address.

  • Email Subject
    – Choose your own subject line for the quote email. If you leave this field blank then our default email subject line will be used for quote email confirmations to you and your customers.   • Email Message
    Choose your own message for the quote email body.

  • Send emails for modified quotes?
    – Enable this if you wish to trigger an email notification when a quote is modified.

  • Send emails for cancelled quotes?
    – Enable this if you wish to trigger an email notification when a quote is cancelled.
