Use the scarcity principle

Giving the impression to your customer that you have a limited number of a certain product will make it quite appealing. For retail businesses, this model works in the form of sales which makes your products enticing for your customers. Similarly, if you are providing services, you can introduce a model where you offer a certain small but crucial service for free with another larger service. If you are offering bespoke services, you can also add similar language in your proposals to make the client feel like they are being treated in a special way. Tying it to a time constraint can increase the sense of urgency and make the client want to accept your services quicker as well. It is a proven principle that has been in use ever since it was introduced.

Believe in your product

This is not really a trick but something that most small business owners are already aware of. However, it is surprising how few people are using it to their advantage and not putting in enough energy when pitching their products. If you want your business to succeed and grow, you need to be sure that every time you pitch your product to someone, you are doing it from the bottom of your heart. You need to believe that your product is a solution to their needs because if you do not believe it, no one else will either.
